Questions
How does CACTUSPAINTS work?
You upload a photograph and choose how you want it drawn — the style, how exaggerated the proportions should be, how much of the subject is in frame, and what sits behind them. Our AI generates the caricature from your photo and your settings, and you download the finished file. Every caricature is machine-generated; no human artist draws it.
How good is the likeness?
It depends almost entirely on the photo. A sharp, well-lit, front-facing photo where the face is large in the frame gives the strongest result. Group shots, sunglasses, heavy shadow, motion blur and low resolution all make it harder. If a result misses, a different photo usually fixes it.
What do I get?
A single high-resolution image file you download from your account. Everything is digital — we do not print, frame or ship anything. Your caricatures stay in your gallery so you can download them again later.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits sit on your account until you use them, with no subscription and no monthly minimum. One credit generates one caricature.
What if a generation fails?
The credit goes straight back to your account, automatically. You are only ever charged for a caricature you actually receive.
Can I use the artwork commercially?
Yes. You own what you generate and can use it personally or commercially, provided you had the right to use the photo you uploaded in the first place.
